How far back to your American roots go?

Oct 06, 2015 - 9:57 PM - by Dave McClung
Dave McClung's Avatar One of my cousins has spent years researching our family's roots. She just shared some of her research with me.

I was surprised that the first of my ancestors to come to America 1656. I was aware that my ancestor named McClung arrived in the mid 1700's, but this research reveals that my American roots go back almost a century earlier.

Buying zoo tickets

Oct 06, 2015 - 10:00 AM - by G R 'Scott' Cundiff
G R 'Scott' Cundiff's Avatar This is funny - we're going to the Cincinnati Zoo today. If you buy tickets online there's a $1 per ticket discount. Hey, a buck is a buck, so I go to the website to get the discounted tickets. I input the information and go to checkout. Guess what? There's a $3 convenience fee for ordering tickets on line! Someone who works at the zoo is a marketing genius.
