Benefits of authority???

May 04, 2015 - 12:39 AM - by David Graham
David Graham's Avatar I remember speaking to an Anglican Minister friend of mine sometime ago about the benefits or otherwise about a merger between his denomination and mine.

One of the things he said puzzled me because it just didn't make sense. "Then you guys (He actually said blokes, but here I translate ) will have the benefits of the 'Episcopacy'". (Assuming that we of course would adopt... [Read More]

What's goin' on in Ashland?

May 03, 2015 - 11:13 PM - by John Kennedy
I've already mentioned this is in the 'clerical collar' thread. I was reading the website for Ashland, KY First CotN. In a section giving information about what the church's worship services were like the explanatory text was in Latin. That was also the case in the section dealing with the nursery.

My questions:

2) Does God... [Read More]

a new pastor

May 03, 2015 - 7:16 PM - by Larry Parsons
This AM we had a preacher to try out to be our pastor. When it voting time I will vote no even those I like him. The reason I,am voting no we don't need a Sunday preacher we have layman in our church that can preach I want a pastor that will live in the area doesn't have travel over 70 mile to get to church. What do you think about this?
